As in every city with a big harbor we have the docks of hope where people intend to restore old floating vessels. Some succed some do not, but for all the hope still lingers.

BRIS 1
A long, long time ago a man called Sven Lundin set out to build a small sailing boat in the basement of his parents hous. As he had to be able to get it out throught the basement entrance he kept it really small and made it in two halves. This was an achivment in itself. He then set sail and sailed it AROUND THE WORLD! He even stopped and worked as a teacher on Tristan da Cuna for some time (the most isolated island on the whole planet) He actually came back to Göteborg and started building BRIS 2, a slightly bigger vessel, and sailed that for some time. Imagine my surprice when I found BRIS 1 in a roadcrossing just outside of Lysekil today. The mysterious ways history moves. Please excuse the picture quality, taken thought the window of the car with a mobile phone
